ProjectCheerUP! is a non-profit movement that encompasses positivity, compassion, leadership, inspiration and inclusivity through spirited Cheerleaders from across the country for one purpose and one purpose only–to try to Cheer UP the World!

Everyone needs some “cheer”, but most of all we need to cheer together. At ProjectCheerUP!, our goal is to thrive as a youth-focused organization to cheer people up, one smile at a time. Our roadmap for 2021 creates an environment where young people can think, create, build ideas and unify the cheer environment "for good". Our cheerleaders will create moments of goodness and happiness toward others but most of all, Project CheerUP! will inspire our cheerleaders to believe in themselves – so that they can try to do the unthinkable ... to #CheerUP!TheWorld.

#HUDSONGIVES 2022 Is HERE!

In 2020, ProjectCheerUP! was asked to be a part of the #HudsonGives event by providing the official “THANK YOU” video to all donors. THIS YEAR, PCU has been accepted as one of the official Non-Profits to be able to fundraise on this momentous day.

In two days YOU can do your part to help ProjectCheerUP! So that we can keep giving back to our local communities and to the world! THURSDAY, MAY 12th is only two days away!

Project CheerUP! Program Established in 2021 by our Ambassadors.

We cheered for good.

Founded in 2020 in response to the global quarantine and shut down of the sport of Cheerleading, our four founders, Ava Cassilli, Sofia Cordaro, Mackenzie Jennings and Alessia Velazquez, were 15 year old New Jersey high school cheerleaders who stayed true to their mission to Cheer UP and Cheer ON during this crisis.

By realizing that some days you have to create your own “sparkle” and “shine”, other teams caught the Project CheerUP! spirit and started doing the same in their own communities. In only 5 months this “spirit movement” spread nationally – invigorating and uniting cheerleaders of all ages – trying to “CheerUP! The World”.

Creating personalized video “Cheer Grams” the “CheerUP! Squad” sent out hundreds of grams to healthcare staff, first responders, essential workers, nursing homes, and just about anyone who needed to be “cheered up”. Grams evolved into parades for local heros and the girls used their social media following to help drive traffic to struggling local businesses. The Project CheerUP! has now evolved into a National movement and inspiring the hashtags #LeadersWhoCheer, #CheerForGood and #CheerleadersUnited.

Whoever said the small things don't matter, has never seen a match start a wildfire. Let's do the unthinkable. Lets #CheerUPtheWorld

Teamwork Wanted
